Darren and Jake visit the new “ia” team of Affin-ia in Chandigarh, India

Last week, Darren and Jake visited our newly launched IA team based in Chandigarh, India.

For reference, Chandigarh is a City in Northern India with a population of around 1.2 million (similar to Birmingham) and a few hours from the Himalayas by car.

The time difference is 5.5 hours (4.5 hours during the Summer months).

The IA team is focused on providing support to the whole Affinia business around the I’s and A’s of our data cubes:

• Architecture – how / who and where is our data held
• Integrity – assisting us clean and complete our data sets particularly introducing client datasets
• Analysis – producing dashboards and management reporting for the business and potentially as a tool for clients
• Insight – using human and artificial intelligence to help us make better decisions

This is a key aspect of our wider technology strategy which has many strands and involves working alongside Utilize (core infrastructure), CCH and JMAN (data consultants).
