Welcome to Emma who joins LB Group today as Head of Digital Solutions.

Emma’s role is to ensure we are able to provide advice to clients in relation to the latest technology they can harness to improve their systems, and how they can implement and use this new technology to their best advantage. Over time, Emma will be visiting all the offices to communicate what her role entails and how her skills can assist clients, but in summary her role consists of the following:

• Ensure we are all aware of the latest technology which clients can use to improve processing and reporting
• Review clients’ systems and advise of ways to improve current processes with the aim to improve controls, costs associated with processing and better reporting
• Assist clients with changing accounting systems from recommending systems to assisting with implementation
• Review existing clients’ digital solutions to ensure they are using these to the best of the their ability, and provide training where necessary
• Create an app stack, which clients could use to improve efficiency, across processing payments, automating credit control to better reporting
• Ensure we are prepared for changes which Make Tax Digital (MTD) will require
• Consider internal processes, and whether there is technology which could improve these.

She has been a leading voice in terms of the technological changes which are affecting the industry speaking at the Digital Accountancy show in 2023. With Emma joining the firm, this aids us in providing a more comprehensive service in this ever changing landscape in the digital space.
