SPAM / phishing emails

We have seen a number of SPAM or phishing emails recently which look like internal emails.

As a reminder, please ensure that you a vigilant when checking the author of an email before clicking on any links. Please check:

• Does it have a blue banner at the top of the email? If so, this has come from an external source not internal
• Please also check the actual email address to ensure it is a genuine company email address
• Does the email include urgent calls to click on a link, include bad spelling or grammar or a generic greeting? See example below.

If you are unsure, please contact IT in the first instance to check the credibility of the email.
