Replacement of iO for client referral submissions

On Monday 5th February the software you use to refer clients to LBFS will be changing – Intelligent Office (iO) will be replaced by Catalyst.

The Catalyst system has been specifically designed for Accountants and other professionals to refer clients to a Financial Planner. In addition to you providing the clients details it also allows us to provide you with an update in the progress of that referral and whether your referral leads to us working with the client. You will also have a dashboard showing your referral history.

The system is very intuitive to use and the details you will provide are almost identical to those you are used to adding to iO. However, Catalyst will also allow you to add in the client’s company details.

Getting Started

Within the Catalyst User Guide menu you will find a video showing the full process of adding and referring a client.

The video shows a step which we have removed form the process, issuing a client consent letter, as this is not required based on our Group structure so you can ignore this section.

Next, you will be asked to select an Adviser to refer the client to and as per the current process, please always select me. I will then distribute the referral internally depending on which adviser is most suitable to help, workloads, time off etc.

Once you have referred the client you can add further notes at any time or upload documents if needed. There are again videos in the User Guide to show you how.

Once we have picked up the referral we will add any relevant notes, whether that’s just to let you know we have tried to contact the client, or that we have spoken and agreed our next actions. You will be able to track the outcome of your referrals on your personal dashboard.

In preparation for the switch you will receive an e-mail from Catalyst with a link to set up your log in details. All passwords will be set to LBGroup01 initially and you can change that when you first log in.
