Congratulations to Jake Millard

Congratulations to Jake who has been promoted to Group Head of Finance with immediate effect.

Jake has overseen the finance function at LB for 3 years and has seen the finance team grow from 3 to 7 members during that time. Jake’s new role recognises the broad and expanding role he has across the business as we continue to grow.

Rob said: “I’m delighted to be able to recognise the brilliant contribution Jake has made to our business over the last 3 years. In the 8 months since I’ve joined, Jake has been an incredible support to me as I’ve settled in, and it’s only thanks to his commitment that we have been able to deliver across-the-board improvements in areas like board reporting, business planning, working capital management and invoicing at the same time as completing our own year end and audit. Jake has an excellent team around him and I am delighted to be working with them all as we continue this exciting journey”.

Jake said: “I’m really pleased with the promotion. It’s an incredibly exciting time for LB Group and the growth journey we are on. I thoroughly enjoy working with Rob and have learnt a great deal since he joined the business. We have recently added Liam and Hajera to the Finance team who have hit the ground running with the number of projects and process improvements we have ongoing. Jamie, Louise and Lorraine have been doing a fantastic job at keeping the day-to-day finance operations running smoothly and the cash coming in!”
