Accounting Excellence Awards Dinner | Tuesday 8th October
Last Tuesday evening, we were delighted to attend the Accounting Excellence Awards at which we were shortlisted for the following awards:
- Employer of the Year
- Progressive Audit Firm of the Year
Unfortunately, this year we did not win either award, but it was a great achievement to be shortlisted in our first year of entering! The evening also provided a great platform to celebrate all the finalists and we intend to come back bigger and better next year!
The winners were selected by a panel of industry experts and leaders, showcasing their forward-thinking approach and expertise in the field. The evening is a celebration for all the finalists and is the industry’s biggest social event on the calendar. The finalists enjoyed an evening of networking, dinner and entertainment followed by the prestigious awards ceremony, hosted by comedian Rob Beckett.
Richard Lane commented on the evening, saying, “It was a nice event with good company. It is a shame we didn’t win, but I am confident for next year!”
The categories were incredibly competitive, with the winners from our groups winning several awards. The winners for our categories were:
Employer of the Year – Bishop Fleming
Bishop Fleming is a Top 35 accounting firm in the UK and an award-winning tax practice. They are ranked fifth in the inaugural UK Accountancy Age Mid-Tier Power Index and Great Place to Work® Certified.
Progressive Audit Firm of the Year – Kreston Reeves
Kreston Reeves is a top 30 accounting firm in the UK with offices across London, Kent, and Sussex. It has global reach through its membership in Kreston Global, an international advisory and accountancy network across 115 countries.
