Affinia launch – Useful Information
As we get closer to the launch of Affinia, we would like to share some information which you will find useful as part of the launch.
IT Guidance
In order to ensure a smooth brand rollout, there are some important points you must follow on the day you are scheduled to move to Affinia. Please note, if you do not follow these steps, it may affect your access to systems and ways of working.
Transition dates:
Offices are being phased from Monday 10th February as follows:
-
- 10th February: LB Group and NSO users
- 12th February: RE Group and GWC
- 13th February: Dyer & Co and Baxter & Co
- 14th February: Clarkson Hyde
An engineer will be available at the Ipswich, Colchester, Chelmsford and Stratford offices on 10th February.
Important points to remember for Friday 7th February
-
- On Friday 7th February at 6pm, please SWITCH OFF your laptop and ensure you do not undertake any work at the weekend.
- If you access your laptop from 6pm 7th Feb to 8am 10th February you are at risk of losing any work as Utilize will be accessing your laptop to switch you over.
- On Friday 7th February, when you log off, please also ensure your camera is covered – this is an important step in preventing issues when you first log back on, on 10th February.
- Anything you have shared from your own OneDrive (such as files or folders with colleagues or clients) will need to be re-shared post switch over. This is ONLY for your personal drive, any files in your usual team folders / Sharepoint sites will continue to function as usual.
Important point to remember for Monday 10th February
- You will need to know your password to log for the first time.
- You will need to log back into every device – including mobile phones.
- Your Desktop background may still appear as LB Group on Monday. It may take some time for all items such as backgrounds to transition to Affinia branding.
- You may be prompted for MFA (Multi Factor Authenticator) when you reconnect.
- “Classic LB Users” and “Acquisition Users” have a different set of instructions for AVD, ensure you follow your relevant instructions. These will be shared later this week and printed copies will be available in the offices for you.
Brand Guidelines
As part of the change to Affinia, you will be given access to our new Brand Guidelines. This will be provided as a website which can be accessed via Marketing Links on the Loop from Monday 10th February.

This site will include full guidance on how to use Affinia branding and will contain access to brand assets including:
-
- Logos and colours
- PowerPoint and Word templates
- Stock photography
- LinkedIn banners
- Teams backgrounds
As part of the roll out we have been working closely with service line teams on existing documents and these will be available in your team folders as usual.
More information will be shared on using our new brand after launch. We will be offering a Lunch & learn session for anyone who would like to learn more about using our brand available templates later in February.
If you have any questions on the above, please do contact us via the Marketing inbox in the first instance. Please note that the inbox has a 48 hour return window.
