Affinia: Launching on Monday

As we prepare for the official brand rollout and new chapter with the launch of Affinia on Monday 10th February, we want to ensure that you are updated on the changes that will take place and remind you of the IT guidance that MUST be followed today and on Monday 10th February. 

IT Guidance 

As per the comms shared this week, you must SWITCH OFF your laptop at 6pm today (Friday 7th February) and ensure you do not undertake any work over the weekend. Any work completed after 6pm is at risk of being lost as Utilize will be accessing laptops to switch you over from LB Group to Affinia. Please also ensure you cover your camera when logging off.  

You are free to use your laptops from 8am on Monday 10th February.  

Important points to remember for Monday 10th February 

• •  You will need to know your password to log in for the first time
  • You will need to log back into every device – including mobile phones 
  • Your Desktop background may still appear as LB Group on Monday. It may take some time for all items, such as backgrounds, to transition to Affinia branding 
  • You may be prompted for MFA (Multi Factor Authenticator) when you reconnect 
  • “Classic LB Users” and “Acquisition Users” have a different set of instructions for AVD so please ensure you follow your relevant instructions. These have been emailed to staff and will be printed and available with your Business Support team.

Key changes 

As a reminder, on Monday you will: 

1. Have your LB Group email transitioned to Affinia – please see below link to guidance for this. This is also available as a printed version in each office. Please note Utilize are on hand to support with any issues.

2. Regain access to AVD – as part of the IT switch, you will need to regain access to AVD. Please see the below links for how to gain access depending on if you are a “Classic LB” user or an Acquisition user:

3. Gain access to our new Brand Guidelines website – this contains logos, LinkedIn banners and access to PowerPoint and Word templates. We have been working closely with service lines to update existing documents with the Affinia branding, please liaise with your service line head on these.  
4. Be able to change your LinkedIn to work at Affinia – If you are not already following the current LB Group company page [(12) LB Group: Overview | LinkedIn], we encourage you to do so. This will be switched to Affinia on Monday. Brand launch comms will be shared from this page, please like, comment and share posts to help support sharing Affinia to our contacts.
