Baby Loss Awareness Week: Crochet Hats
Every October the UK commemorates baby loss awareness week to support bereaved families and raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss.
Having established a Crochet Club in February, the Ipswich office’s recent project was in support of Baby Loss Awareness Week.
The club crocheted baby hats as a donation for Ipswich hospital’s maternity ward. The hats were crocheted by member of the club, which include Abbie, Becky, Megan, and Phoebe in the Accounts team.
There were also some excellent crocheted / knitted contributions from Sarah Stannard in the Payroll team, Anna in the Accounts team, and Anna’s mum. A total of 52 hats were made by the Crochet club and those who donated, and were kindly accepted by the team at the hospital.
The Crochet Club hope to run some other exciting projects in the new year.
Please reach out to Abbie Bennett if you have any questions.
See the photos below of the incredible hats created.
