Black Friday Shopping

I am sure like me you can’t quite believe it’s one month to Christmas day – if you have not yet fully organised your gifts, you may be able to get some great savings on Black Friday, but what is it?

Black Friday traditionally originates from the US, being the day after Thanksgiving and marks the start of holiday season shopping. Later adopted in the UK amongst other countries, it then expanded to the whole weekend to include Cyber-Monday – although recently larger retailers start their sales much earlier and run them into December.

Cynics may say it’s a ploy to get people spending, or the discounts are not always as attractive as they appear – but there are certainly great deals to have if you know what you are looking for, so do your research!
