Companies House – Change in Fees from 1st May

As you may already know, Companies House is increasing their fees from 1 May 2024.    The main one impacting all corporate clients is that the CS01 filing fee will be increasing from £13 to £34, we therefore need to pass this increased cost on to our clients.

To ensure this is dealt with, please see the following actions and guidance for you all:

Client Managers Action to take from 1 May 2024:

1. Please ensure you add the CS01 filing fee on to the clients final balance of “annual compliance fees” invoice –  Show this as a separate line so that this is NOT missed, as below:
   • Disbursement:  Companies House filing fee £34
   • Preparation and submission of annual Confirmation Statement £75  (where this can be charged – noting at present COL do this as standard…?)
2. Business Support will send out the CS01 Checklists as usual but it will be the client managers responsibility to include the filing fee:
   • above and where appropriate the prep fee
   • above  on the final balance of annual compliance fee note.  This should not be raised as a separate fee note, unless you are issuing to a lost client.
3. Lost clients should receive a final fee note to cover the CS01 filing fee if not already covered on the annual compliance fee note.
4. ALL clients will receive the below e-mail advising this of this increase
