Daisy Warner is fundraising for Alzheimer’s Society
This month is World Alzheimer’s Month and we would like to share the following message from Daisy in our People & Culture team, who is fundraising for Alzheimer’s Society.
“On October 4th I will be walking the 7k Dementia Memory Walk in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society and in memory of my dear mum Kathy who passed away in June of this year.
Mum was a lady full of life, with a big personality. To watch this being taken away from her slowly over time was nothing but cruel……and this is what Dementia does.
There are an estimated 982,000 people living with Dementia in the UK. It impacts not only those diagnosed with the condition, but families, carers and those in the wider society. This suggests that one in two people will be affected by this cruel disease in their lifetime.
If you would like to donate to this worthy cause and show your support, please click on the link below. All donations, no matter how small, make a big difference. 💙
