Happy Place with Fearne Cotton is always an interesting listen. Fearne’s guests tend to have a lot going on in their lives and have needed support to solve issues that many of us will hopefully never have to experience. Yet listening to the episodes often leaves me thankful I have never had to experience some of these things but also a bit more empathetic to people who have.

I chose this episode as I remember DJ Fat Tony from many years ago and when I saw he was being interviewed wondered whatever happened to him. Well, I now know! This is a very powerful episode recorded live in front of a festival audience. It covers some harrowing stories which would not be for everyone, but I came away feeling hopeful that there is support out there for people who have experienced terrible times in their lives.
