Employee Benefit Update: Annual Leave Review
Following recent employee feedback, we are pleased to announce our review of LB Groups annual leave structure.
Annual Leave Allowances
| Trainees | 20 -22 Days | Trainees allowance will increase during qualification milestones up to qualified. |
| Qualified Seniors and Assistant Managers | 23 Days | |
| Manager and Senior Managers | 25 Days | |
| Associate Directors | 27 Days | |
| Support Staff | 20-22 Days* | According to entry level and there will be increase with service up to a cap of 23 Days* |
*Non-technical and non-managerial support staff will gain an additional day to their entitlement following 3 years’ service, an additional day at 4 years’ service and an additional day at 5-year service, up to a cap of 23 days.
Allowances are based upon full time equivalent and will be prorated for part time members of staff.
To reiterate our current policy, at the absolute discretion of a director employees may carry up to five days leave into the next leave year. Any surplus will be lost – the company does not offer a ‘buy back’ scheme.
Any leave carried forward must be used within three months of the carry over date.
Any changes to employee’s basic entitlement as outlined above, will be adjusted on Breathe HR from 1st January 2023.
Annual Leave Purchase Scheme
All employees (part or full time) will have the opportunity to purchase up to 3 additional days annual leave each year.
- Employees will need to make their request via HR for the number of additional days required for a new leave year by 31st August, requests will not be accepted ad hoc throughout the year.
- The cost will be taken through salary sacrifice in eleven equal instalments starting from October.
- Should an employee’s employment end, any outstanding amount will be deducted from their final salary.
- Additional days purchased must be taken in that leave year and will not be permitted to be carried over.
As we have introduced the purchase scheme part way through the leave year this year, you will still have the opportunity to purchase up to 3 days for 2022/2023.
Please ensure your requests are sent to internal.hr@lbgroupltd.com by 6th January 2023 and note that any cost will be deducted in equal instalments over 8 months.
