Finance Team – New Starters

Welcome to two new members of the Finance team – Liam Pickup and Hajera Mozumdar!

Liam joined as Finance Manager, working closely with Jake and the rest of the Internal Finance team. Liam says:

“I’ve had a mixed career including being in practice with Baker Tilly (now RSM), accounting for consolidations at a large international veterinary group, and accounting for health insurance with AXA during the pandemic. I’m mainly based in Colchester, but I will visit the other offices as needed. I live near Diss on the Norfolk/Suffolk border with my wife and four daughters (14, 10, 10, 10 months) and our beloved Staffie, Eddie! I’m currently learning to box as a way of keeping fit, I also like to collect exotic houseplants and Pokémon cards”.

Hajera recently joined LB Group as the Finance Operations Manager and will be working closely with Louise, Lorraine and Jamie, covering the Accounts Payable, Credit Control and WIP. Hajera says:

“Over the past 19 years I have worked in various industries heading up Global Finance teams. Outside work I like to dabble in a little Art and have an interest in Antiques. I share my interest in Antiques with my partner where we venture to the South of France on Antiques Road trips and wine tasting (not necessarily in that order). We share our home with an extremely loving but disobedient dog Maverick. I have jotted 4 points below about myself to help you get to know me better. 2 are true and 2 are false. Feel free to pop in to say hi and guess which is which.

a) I applied ‘Come dine with me’ but don’t like cooking.
b) I joined a company where someone told me they keep forgetting to breath.
c) I bought something at a boot sale for £5 sold for £500
d) I was known as ‘The Terrier’ because of how I chased down WIP”
