Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week
This week, we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week and highlight our incredible journey over the past year, made possible by our amazing team!
As the UK’s fastest-growing wholly owned accountancy practice, you’ve witnessed the significant transformation within our business, including the addition of new offices and team members who share our vision for the future. A huge part of this vision is in growing and nurturing our own talent, where the expertise of our staff makes a real, lasting difference to our clients.
Last September, Affinia was ranked 3rd in the Top 50 UK SME Employers 2024, a prestigious national certification awarded to firms participating in the government’s Apprenticeship Levy Scheme, supported by the Department of Education. We climbed an impressive 10 places from our 13th position in 2023 and remain fully committed to helping our apprentices build successful, fulfilling, and rewarding careers. We are also proud to have been recognised as a finalist for Employer of the Year in the Accountancy Excellence Awards 2024.
Currently, one-third of our employees are engaged in apprenticeship training, including Level 7 Professional Accountant apprenticeships and Level 7 Taxation, while working towards becoming Chartered Accountants. This training spans several of Affinia’s departments, including tax, audit, and business advisory.
Many members of our senior management team have worked their way up from junior roles at Affinia, and as we have supported them in their career journeys, they now extend the same support to our apprentices.

Please keep in mind that we offer a referral bonus scheme, which will reward you according to the entry level of the hire:

The reward will be split into two payments; 50% when the employee starts with us and 50% when they have successfully completed their probation period. Rewards are subject to the normal tax and NIC deductions.
