It’s been an exciting and busy few months for the Cloud Accounting team, and I’m pleased to share some key updates with you.

What Does the Cloud Accounting Team Do?  

We’ve had a couple of queries recently around software we recommend and whether we can take on engagements across different software. Details of what the Cloud team can cover are below:

Software Support 

We offer ongoing Software Support for clients following the implementation of their AppStack. This ensures they continue to get maximum value from their systems long after the initial setup. 

What we offer clients: 

• Day-to-day troubleshooting and user support 

• Assistance with feature adoption or new user onboarding 

• Ongoing advice as their business and systems evolve 

• Regular check-ins to ensure systems remain aligned with business goals 

This service helps strengthen client relationships and ensures long-term success with their cloud tools. 

Cloud Health Check 

Our Cloud Health Check service gives clients a comprehensive review of their existing cloud systems, with a focus on identifying improvements, increasing efficiency, and aligning with best practice. 

What clients can expect: 

• A full review of their current setup and processes 

• Identification of inefficiencies or manual workarounds 

• Recommendations for automation and improved system use 

• Advice on integrating additional tools from our AppStack, if appropriate 

• A tailored action plan to help optimise their cloud environment 

This proactive service enables us to add value beyond compliance and positions ourselves as trusted cloud advisors.

Becky Barker – Cloud Accounting Assistant Manager (Ipswich) 

James Roberts – Cloud Accounting Assistant Manager (Orpington) 

Sarah Callow – Bookkeeping Manager (Harlow) 

New joiners:  

Beth Carley-Beales – Senior Cloud Accountant (Ipswich) 

Luke Whitbread – Bookkeeper (Harlow) 

Bethany Smoker – Cloud Accountant (Chelmsford) 

Vacancies:  

Due to continued growth, we have some open vacancies within the Cloud team. If these sound like a good fit for you, or someone you know, please feel free to reach out to Lydia.  

Senior Cloud Accountant:  

• Support with management of client portfolio. 

• Act as a software champion in our AppStack, supporting with software queries as they arise. 

• Provide software training and demonstrations to clients. 

• Support with providing management accounts to the Accounts team within pre-agreed deadlines. 

• Support with review of work completed by junior team members as needed. 

Junior/Semi-Senior Cloud Accountant: 

• Bookkeeping  

• Support with the setup of client payment runs.  

• Liaise with clients on bookkeeping queries  

• Balance sheet control account reconciliation  

• Support with system queries  

• Provide system driven credit control support.
