Lets keep front of mind the sorts of conversations we should be having with clients every day to help them maximise opportunities and minimise risks. Examples and topical ones right now might be:
1) profit extraction and tax minimisation through say pensions or VCT planning. Has your client just received there large CT or PT tax bills? Can this be improved for this year or next year?
2) exit planning – our clients wont be running that business forever – MBO or sale on open markets? Key to plan well in advance what the exit strategy is.
3) sadly death will come to all of us and therefore all clients with material values of assets / wealth need to consider their IHT planning. (fun subject i know but the earlier this issue is tackled the easier it can be!)
4) Business advisory and tax planning to assist the safe and sustainable growth of business, protection of property assets, business assets and generally keeping a healthy financial and tax profile for our clients.
There aren’t many firms out there who have the ability to offer the plethora of expertise from cradle to grave like LB can so do ensure your clients are accessing the value add we offer 🙂
