Meet our LB Audit Team – South Africa

We are very are pleased to introduce you to our Audit Team based in South Africa. Please join us in welcoming Olwethuzuko, Dawid, Kayla and Keagan to the LB team!

My name is Olwethuzuko, which is an isiXhosa name and means ‘Our Grace’. I grew up in a small town called Port Elizabeth and currently living in Cape Town South Africa. I studied BCom Accounting at the University of the Free State, I also hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from the University of South Africa. I completed my SAICA training contract with PwC. I recently worked as a Senior Audit consultant at SAPRO prior to joining the LB group. I have 4-years audit experience in Financial services, manufacturing and general audit industries. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, watching soccer (football) and running.

My name is Keagan Muller, born and raised in a small town in the centre of South Africa, called Bloemfontein. I completed my Chartered Accountant qualification in 2020 at PwC. I am an enthusiastic person that loves budgeting, forecasting and Microsoft Excel. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, all kinds of sports (currently working on my golf handicap), gaming and working out. Here to make a difference and help were I can.

My name is Kayla. I grew up in Johannesburg South Africa and have been here since I was born. Although, my mum and dad moved over here from Gloucestershire and Glasgow, and I am of UK descent. I began my university studies straight out of school in 2015 and studied part time whilst working toward obtaining my SAICA articles (internship). This was an unconventional choice, as a lot of my peers studied full time and then went on to do their articles at the end of their studies. However, I did this for the practical work experience. I feel that this benefitted me and taught me a lot of self-discipline, and I was able to graduate my degree with distinction at the end of three years. After completing my postgraduate studies, SAICA articles and SAICA board exams in February 2022, I was fully qualified pending registration with SAICA, which I did this year. Outside of work, I enjoy drawing, running, and spending time outdoors. I consider myself very family-oriented, especially having welcomed my son into the world at the end of last year. I’m a dedicated and passionate person by nature, and enjoy working with like-minded people, and have thoroughly enjoyed working for the LB Group thus far.

My name is Dawid Pretorius, I was raised in a few towns in South Africa before settling in a small town right in the centre of the country called Bloemfontein, where I also obtained my accounting degree and post graduate qualification in accounting. I completed my Chartered Accountant qualification in 2020 at Nexia SAB&T, a medium tier firm. Since then, I have continued auditing in South Africa and internationally in Toronto and New York. In my spare time I enjoy camping, hunting, fooling myself into thinking I can play golf and spending time with family. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and helping wherever I can.
