Social Committee: Pride Celebration Monday 24 June

Hello All

June is a substantial month amongst the LGBTQ+ community when Pride is celebrated and we would like to invite you all to join in on Monday 24 June.

There are a couple of different ways you could show your support. You could wear bright colours on that day, perhaps some of you could co-ordinate your outfits to cover all the colours of the rainbow! Even making it into a competition for a prize to win most colourfully dressed. We will also have a Pride quiz which will be available with a further opportunity to win a prize, and perhaps learn something new!

Perhaps you’d like to bring in some yummy Pride related goodies to eat during the day. For example, in our Ipswich office, Martin and Amy have kindly offered to do some baking! ? If anyone else would like to help with baking, please let us know.

For this event we have chosen to support the Home – Outreach Youth. Outreach youth is committed to enabling Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, Queer and Questioning (LGBT*Q+) young people and their peers, to realise their unique potential and to take a positive role in society. We will have a donation pot available on the day to enable you to donate if you wish ?
