The presentation included an update on Affinia becoming a better place to work, our community at work and the launch of our October face-to-face event.
Becoming an even better place to work
- Over the previous months, Darren Redmayne and Vanessa Emens visited the majority of our offices for Open House Sessions to gather feedback from staff on how Affinia can become a better place to work
- They were met with positive feedback and are pleased to announce that we are working on:
- Harmonised and enhanced benefits
- Better CRM tools
- Improving social budgets
- Trainee meet and greets
- Improvements to the Loop and more internal communications
- And more
Our community at work
- In this section, Darren covered how we all view ‘One Affinia’:
- Our Office – your home location
- Our Team – the service line or enabling function you are in
- Affinia – the company as a whole
- Darren also discussed how we are improving these three areas including defining the role of an office lead, the recent introduction of Affinia Academy and improving internal communications.
October event
- We are pleased to share that we will once again be running our next Group Event as a face-to-face event on 1st October at Chelmsford City Racecourse – more details including travel information will be shared shortly
- We also announced staff nominated awards as part of the event. These will be peer nominated per office. The awards will launch in August
